I know that Nebraska is not necessarily the first place that comes to mind when you think of the words “adventure elopement,” but this underrated state has several hidden gems that with natural beauty and picturesque landscapes just waiting to be explored. 2. Platte River State Park

In Platte River State Park, lush forests in the spring and summer, the winding Platte River, and baby waterfalls cascading near established trails that is the most whimsical place for a woodland adventure wedding.

Couples who opt to elope in this park find themselves surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature; with breathtaking natural light photos to show.

When booking with my company, we help with permits and parking permission as well.

3. The Sandhills

Discover the timeless beauty of the Nebraska sandhills - a vast expanse of rolling dunes and endless skies that stretch as far as the eye can see. Exchange vows where the serenity of the landscape and the warm breeze create a sense of intimacy and tranquility unlike any other.

One of the perks of eloping in the sandhills is its accessibility. There is a highway that follows this curves and bends of the land all the way through, allowing you to pull over anywhere and take photos, or get out and walk and enjoy the beauty of the nature there.

4. Chimney Rock

Rising majestically from the plains, Chimney Rock is an iconic landmark that has captivated travelers for centuries. Stand atop this natural wonder or use it as a backdrop for your wedding photos for sweeping views of Nebraska prairies stretching out before you.

Sunrise and sunset are especially beautiful times for your wedding. Seasonal constraints don’t necessarily apply as this gorgeous rock formation looks amazing with snow in the winter, as well as surrounded by wildflowers in the spring and summer. Even in the rain, storm clouds compliment the powerful rock as well!
